I just purchased Elements Pro. I have my receipt from PayPal, showing that the purchase went through. I downloaded and launched Elements. It asked for my email in order to send me an activation code. I entered my email. I received the email and clicked on the green box that said “verify account“.
It opened a window on my Mac and asked me to enter my email again and the five digit code I got in the email. I entered them and now it says “an error occurred trying to activate. Please check your email address and activation code.” I have checked both and they are correct but it won’t let me activate the software.
Thank you for your response. You were right. I had not yet received the email giving me my software license key. I had only received the email with the 5 digit code. It had been a half an hour since I made the purchase, so I assumed that 5 digit code was the number I needed. But, a few minutes after I posted my problem on the forum, I finally received the email with the receipt and license key. Everything is copacetic and I was able to activate the software using the licensed key. Thank you again for your response, Dan.
