Can't Apply Border Radius to Video Component

Just tried to apply border radius to a video component and it just do not work. Also I tried to add a Container and place a Video Component inside and then tried to add radius, also didn’t work.

Another about video component is that would be cool to have the same protection as we have at Image Component, so we keep our content safe.

Thanks!

RapidWeaver Elements 0.6.8 (23389)

Set the border radius, then set the overflow to hidden under Layout section.

It seems to work in elements but not working on safari. I’ve applied to video component and container parent. Not working

Works for me in Safari if I apply border radius and overflow hidden to the video element.

Safari may be caching, try clearing cache. But Ive not seen Safari cache the local preview :man_shrugging:

I found the issue for me. It doesn’t work if the Aspect Ratio is set to Auto, but when I changed to Wide it worked.

I’ll look in to this one and ensure it works in the next beta

Hi regarding caching. I also had the feeling a few times, that changes are not applied. Specifically I applied text-shadow but it did not show up in Editor or the Browser.

After a while it appeared.

I can’t replicate this one, do you have a project where this is an issue?

Would you mind if I share the project in private?

Sure, you can DM me here on the forum

I am having some kind of issue to upload the project, how do I solve It?

Hi @vinioliv,

We’ve seen this issue before sometimes when people are on a network that is blocking the service.

You can also try opening https://aws.amazon.com/amplify/ in your browser. If it doesn’t load or is slow, your network might be restricting access.

Can you log out and log back into Elements Cloud, then try re-sending the file? If you’re still having issues, go to the Help Menu and select “Copy Support Logs”. Save the file and send it to me via email.
