Why do I get this error message? And how do I fix it?
have you closed the project down and trying to refresh the page that was opened from the project but now closed down
this page is from a closed project
What also happens after I get this error message is that the program quits. I’ve tried to restart the file a couple of times. I think the problem might be related to the size of my file. It’s way too big. I don’t get the menage if I work on a smaller file. The thing is, I don’t know how to warehouse the images, which number in the hundreds. I have over 200 pages. It’s because I started working on the site without always knowing what I was doing. (However, the site looks great!. Much better than in Classic.)
So here is my question about using remote resources. I have 200 or so pages that have images. For there majority of pages, each links to two other pages. A gallery is on each page. So presumably all the pagers and images have been uploading to my server once I publish. Now how do I use those uploaded images instead of the images in the Elements file? If I have to insert a URL for each image, it’s going to take me forever to do that. Is there another method? Can I just include the Url for the Resource file on the server? Or what?
never used remote images so no idea, all it says in the manual is,
see last sentence - multiple remote url’s at a time,
Adding Remote Resources
Right-click in the Resources area and select “Add Remote Resource” from the contextual menu.
You can add single or multiple remote url’s at a time, just ensure each remote resource is on a new line.
I don[‘t have to close the project because Elements suddenly quits on its own.
