I don’t know when the bug started, but I cannot edit any of my typography component content… Elements seems to free, switching pages don’t show the page content either… currently unusable. Version 2.2.5. Video demo here.
That seems very strange, can you share the project or re-create it in a smaller project and share it with us?
You can download previous builds here to get back-up and running while we figure this out:
Your video is too quick but you have an accordion in structure what setting do you have there on reveal?
Same in 2.2.4. Running macOS 25.5 beta 2. how do I share my project again?
Can’t send you direct message right now apparently… email address?
Open Elements. Menu —> help —> send project
@numericcitizen, seeing as it still doesn’t work in older builds of Elements, this suggests it’s possible a system (or utility) that has caused the issue ![]()
Have you installed any system utilities recently, or perhaps it’s the update to macOS 25.5 beta 2? I think this is still a developer beta, so it’s kind risky to run on your main machine ![]()
Do you have another system you can test your project on? Oh, and I presume this happens even on new projects?
A lot of going on on my Mac I must say… ![]()
My gut feeling goes to 26.5 b2… otherwise, I don’t know. So you are able to edit on your side, right?
Yes, it’s all working fine with your project on macOS 26.4.1 — I’ll need to install the latest developer beta here to find out if this is a new issue…
Hi @numericcitizen,
I’ve tried your project on macOS 26.5 beta 2 and I’m not seeing the same issue, so it doesn’t look like a problem with Elements or macOS 26.5.
As you mentioned you have a lot running on your Mac, I’d first try quitting everything else and testing again. If it still happens, the next step would be to start the Mac in Safe Mode and see if Elements behaves normally there. If it does, that would strongly suggest something else on the system is interfering.
Cheers
Fixed in Beta 3. Thanks for your support.
That’s great news! ![]()
