Can't open RW8 site

I built a site with RW8 and updated with classic.

Elements can not open either site.

Elements cannot directly open an RW8 or RWClassic made site, You must use the convert site option in the File menu.

I did one in RW7. to RW8 and Classic and it imports fine. use importer as per Steve post above.
