Is there any plan to add Title and Caption boxes to the gallery images. Something similar to “ProGallery 3” by Stacks4Stacks would be fantastic! Essential for an artists portfolio, where you need to have a title and a description for the works you display. The information shows when you hover over the image with the mouse. More image display formats (fixed, flexible, floating) would also be welcome. While we are at it, an option for image box and inset shadows would also be nice. Thank you for a great product!
You can set a caption and author in the media inspector and have it displayed under the thumbnails. Maybe use those as the title and description.
Alternatively, you could build your own gallery with the modal component. That way, you could display the images however you wanted. It would be more work, but it might be an option for you!
