Hello,
in the editor I am using dividers with --- and I want them to have the same bright colour of the text, that I have set up in the custom typography. Actually they are black and almost invisible because of the dark background photo. (please see screenshots)
Where can I change the setting of the colour for the dividers?
Thank you for any help
Riccardo
Hi,
Not sure it’s a “smarter” solution…, but I use another way :
In Elements, I add a tailwind-class (in inspector > advanced) for the typography component where {{item.body}} is.
For example :
[&_hr]:border-text-800
I can provide a different color for dark mode
[&_hr]:dark:border-text-200
If I want to adjust the hr margin, I and, for example :
[&_hr]:mt-4
[&_hr]:mb-4
Thank you for your reply, Anne, but I still have difficulties learning and using codes and/or tailwind-classes, I can’t figure out what code exactly I should add in the inspector-advanced for the typography component. Based on your suggestions and my online research I tried different code variations, but the only effect was that all the text and all the horizontal rules became black. ![]()
So I just went back to my solution.
I would really need a guide for beginners on how to use Tailwind classes… ![]()
Is there maybe a tutorial for dummies somewhere online???
