I’m trying to fix an Accessibility issue with the ‘Fitness’ project reported by Lighthouse. The issue is that there is insufficient contrast with the non-active menu items against the background. I have made them white like the active menu item. The active menu item I have set to be underlined. When I preview in a browser or publish to a test sandbox site I see the underlining of the active menu item but not the change in colour of the other menu items. I have ‘published all’ and cleared history so I don’t think this is a caching issue.
Selecting the default tab and changing the color to white seems to work.
Tested on my sandbox server, working there too.
That does work if I go back to the original downloaded version of the project and preview the result in a browser but I’ve made quite a few changes since then, including changing the fonts. I don’t really understand why I see the default colour change to white happening in the ‘edit’ screen but not in either preview in a browser, or when I publish.
Can you share your edited project via Elements Cloud, and perhaps the live test website so we can take a look?
If I’ve done this right you should see my (amended) version of Fitness here: elementsapp://downloadDocument/R9T5shA4IBm4
My sandbox site with the published results is here:
