Changing Text Size Per Screen

Ok - embarrassed to say - I haven’t done this on any of my 20+ sites…

Using System - Template

Most options seem greyed out - unless I want to create a new setting…

I watch some tutorial videos..

I asked the Robot - He said:

To change font sizes on a page level for different screen sizes in Elements, you’ll want to use the Theme Studio. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Open Theme Studio: Go to the Theme Studio in Elements.
  2. Select Typography: Choose the Typography settings where you can manage font sizes.
  3. Responsive Sizes: Set different font sizes for various breakpoints (e.g., sm, md, lg). This way, you can have different sizes for mobile, tablet, and desktop views.
  4. Apply Changes: Once you’ve set your desired sizes, apply the changes, and they will reflect across your site.

Remember, using Theme Controls ensures your site is responsive and looks great on all devices. :artist_palette:

I was perplexed about this, too.

Do all your smallest screen settings first. Get them right for the small screen. Now as you cycle up through your screen sizes you should see a small dot that you can click on to the left of the settings, this decouples from the small screen size and lets you override it. Keep doing that as you move up screen sizes.

Don’t think the Robot got that right.

You can adjust the font size per screen size like this.

You can’t edit the theme just yet, just override its different settings. We’re still waiting for that one…

Ok - I’ll wait

Editing the theme is what I want…

My largest site has 80+ pages and would take forever and a day to adjust each container on each page….

Too much time….

Theme level editing would be key….

You do all text containers on a page at the same time. As differentdan has done above.
