Just a quick heads-up: a new update is coming very soon! This release will introduce exciting new customization options designed to make every creation using Scrollytelling and Scrollyplay components truly one-of-a-kind.
Get ready to take your projects to a whole new level of uniqueness. Stay tuned!
Sorry been away for long weekend. I asked if there was any way we could have the Apple Demo project from third tab on introducing the new products? I was more interested in the word version to start with something simple! TIA
First of all, a big thank you to @PMUK and to everyone who has purchased my components.
I’ve just finished implementing a really nice and interesting update for both components. Tomorrow I’ll record a video where I’ll explain in detail how they work, placing them inside a page while recreating the HomePod website.
This will make it possible to use both components together, whether to control videos or image sequences. It’s going to be really exciting and inspiring, and it will show how easy it is to create something amazing using these two components.
Hi everyone!
I’m happy to share a quick video I’ve put together to show you the potential of my components for Elements, including some of the features coming in the next update. (Please excuse my English, as it is not my native language).
I am currently testing the new features, and the release is scheduled for this Monday, after the Elements staff has verified the new build.
Take advantage of the current discount:
By purchasing the components now, you will get the upcoming update for free, which includes:
Image Loading customization.
Logo insertion.
Progressive Loading for better performance.
WebP Image Support.
A series of structural optimizations.
All future updates will always be included in this single initial purchase.
With these components, you can create truly stunning, Apple-style dynamic effects starting from just a simple image sequence or a video. I hope you find this first video interesting; since I made it quite quickly, I’d be happy to create more videos based on your specific requests here on the forum!
So now I have a brilliant project in Elements and crap videos for my products so is there anyone out there that does Apple Final Cut or Motion files that could help - willing to pay.
@logrunner Thanks so much! Regarding the YouTube video… sorry for my English . Anyway, you made the right choice; with these two components, you can create really complex animations in just a few clicks. Over the years, I think I’ve tried every visual web editor out there, but when I tried Elements, I fell in love. It’s simple, intuitive, and has great people involved… we are part of something great.
Having an AI subscription is OK and yes I have one but having “boring” plain coloured products its hard to get inspiration. I hsve done videos myself in past but they look amateurish! This programme is amazing and I need an amazing video to match the product.
Scrolly’s not a cat in hells chance at this speed!
So I really appreciate your wonderful steroid filled video and as a 70 year old think - God I wish I was 30 years younger I could have so much fun!
I can see the pure passion and fire in your presentation along with the BRILLIANT Scrolly’s projects and I can only implore you all to go and buy it its amazing!
OK I have been set a challenge and I’m up for it. I might be back in a week, a month or a year but you will see my once in a lifetime brilliant Scrolly’s presentation for EzyAs!
OK Chris when do you have a spare 6 weeks in your calendar!
It seems that in Scrollytelling, that you have to name the images in the Sequence folder just like 01.png, 02.png, 03.png etc. I had them named as e.g. mountain_01.png, mountain_02.png, mountain_03.png etc. Ideally this type of naming would be supported.
So with my original naming, it wasn’t working. It would be useful if Scrollytelling informed you if the images are missing or invalid format. This could show in the component, maybe by having a testing switch enabled while in testing and turned off once in production?
Good morning Chris, I’m slowly getting to grips with Elements using your plug-ins. I think it would be really useful to have a video, some documentation or your demo project to study ( Elements ). I haven’t yet managed to fit Scrollytelling into a responsive frame the way you did for the spaceship from which you can see the planet (THE “CINEMA” EFFECT). I’d be grateful for any further documentation. The two plugins work spectacularly and open up new creative horizons for all of us.
Hi @logrunner Thank you so much for this feedback.
You’re absolutely right. While a strictly numerical sequence is cleaner for the engine, I understand that in production, having prefixes like mountain_01.png is much better for organization. I will look into adding a ‘File Prefix’ option in the next update to support this.
