My annual RapidWeaver Classic subscription ends 8/20/26. Will that transfer to Elements or should I wait for then to switch?
Hi @b2dave
RapidWeaver Classic and Elements are two separate apps, so the subscription for annual updates does not transfer between them. If you’d like to crossgrade over to Elements, you can cancel your subscription for annual updates on RapidWeaver Classic if you don’t plan on using it any longer.
If you have additional account related questions, please reach out to us at support@realmacsoftware.com and we can get you sorted.
David - great to see your first post here. You can renew RWC and have a years updates or you can not renew, your RWC will still work exactly as it is but you won’t get any more updates. (@dan please verify).
You can then choose to move over to Elements platform which is brilliant and expanding daily with all the new developers coming on board in marketplace. So why not go for the trial version and have a play. It is a little different more WYSIWYG and will take a little learning but once you get into it its starts to make sense.
This community is great for helping when you get stuck, also one of the community @handshaper actually provides a service to convert a current RW site into Elements for you.
I am nearly 70 and found it a little confusing at the start - then again I have to have days of the week socks on to help too!
It’s just like getting anything new in the sense you have to “forget” habits of what you used to do and learn new ones.
Good Luck and if you need anything else just ask on here!
I think you mean @Fuellemann no? Unless @handshaper is branching out from surf boards to web design. ![]()
oops
yes I do sorry Jan @Fuellemann
Not yet I’m not!
