CMS COLLECTION + Is Now Available!
I’m really excited and a little proud to finally introduce CMS COLLECTION + for RapidWeaver Elements!
I’ve put a lot of time and effort into developing this component, and I’m happy to finally share it with you.
CMS COLLECTION + gives you much more freedom and flexibility when designing your blog or news layouts in RapidWeaver Elements.
More Flexibility for Your CMS Collections
With CMS COLLECTION +, you’re no longer limited to traditional grid layouts.
You can choose between two layout modes:
Fixed Columns
The familiar grid layout you already know from the native Elements CMS Collection. Simple, flexible, and easy to use.
Grid Patterns
Take your layouts to the next level! Create custom grid patterns with different numbers of columns.
For example:
- Start with 2 blog posts in the first row.
- Display 3 blog posts in the next row.
- Follow with 4 blog posts in the third row.
- Repeat your custom pattern throughout your collection.
You can customize these layouts individually for different breakpoints, giving you full control over how your content appears on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Up to 4 Individual Collection Items
One of my favorite features!
Instead of using the same design for every blog post, you can now create up to 4 different Collection Item designs within a single CMS Collection.
Each Collection Item can have its own layout, styling, and content structure.
This opens up completely new possibilities for creating unique and visually interesting blog and news layouts.
New Filtering Options – Including a Blacklist Filter
CMS COLLECTION + also introduces additional filtering options.
The new Blacklist Filter allows you to display all your blog posts except those containing a specific tag.
This is particularly useful when you want to exclude certain categories or types of content from a collection without having to reorganize your CMS.
Pagination & Responsive Layouts
Combine your custom grid patterns with pagination to create even more flexible content layouts.
And of course, you can customize your grid settings for different screen sizes and breakpoints.
Built for RapidWeaver Elements
CMS COLLECTION + is designed to give you more creative freedom while keeping the familiar CMS workflow of RapidWeaver Elements.
Whether you’re building a personal blog, a news website, or a content-heavy project, CMS COLLECTION + gives you more control over how your content is presented.
