Just having way too much fun with building components with Claude. I just added a Comments and Like component to my CMS. It creates a file in the CMS Dashboard in the Comments or Likes folders. The Comments are created as a draft, awaiting approval and an email notification is sent to me when a new comment is posted and waiting for approval. The Comments component also is also connected to the Likes so visitors can like comments. It also uses Cloudflares Turnstile Spam protection.
The Likes component displays an ongoing counter with IP rate limit to prevent scripted clicks.
I’m sure the native Comments component that the Elements team is working on will be much more elegant and easier to implement. I had to manually place some php files on the server to get mine to work.
