Dear friends and community. I am still hesitating to shift all my existing projects from RW classic to Elements. The main reason is the inability in Elements to make text and image changes available to customers in a separate application. I’m thinking of something like Armadillo (Jonathan, Armadillo - Remote blogging and online content editing for RapidWeaver ) , a simple but ingenious CMS that I’ve been using for many years. Don’t get me wrong, I can see all the heart and soul that Dan and Ben have put into developing Elements. Huge progress has been made, but as long as important additions (stacks) are missing, I find it difficult to switch. Please let me know if there is already something available or in the pipeline that allows end customers to easily make their own text and image changes. I would be delighted if there were.
This is planned for the Elements CMS, but it’s not something we’ve started yet. I’m sure third-parties will also ship solutions, but again those are not available, yet…
Maybe keep an eye on Elements, and switch once the solution(s) you need become available!
