Just purchased the CMS Solo license and it’s not accepting the license key. I have uploaded the whole site again and also delete the config.php file and set it all up again, but still no joy. Any ideas would be appreciated please. Thanks Phil
I had the same today. Updating Elements to Beta 3.0.6 and republishing my site solved the issue in my case.
I don’t believe I can update to beta as my elements subscription expired a couple of weeks ago. Surely there must be another way to solve this or been told that purchasing the Solo license would not work unless on a certain version.
As far as I remember, I read in one of Ben’s or Dan’s posts that the Online CMS now requires Elements 3.0.
If that’s the case, and you can no longer use it because you don’t want to upgrade to Elements 3.0 or simply can’t, then I think that’s a valid point to raise with @Dan and @Ben.
Your best option is probably to email the support team directly. I think you’ll get a faster and more reliable answer that way, and they’ll hopefully be able to provide a working solution.
@philG, Unfortunately the online CMS requires Elements 3.0 due to the new licensing system (We had to switch as the old system was not fit for purpose).
If you don’t want to renew your Elements license and update to 3.0, we can give you a refund on the CMS.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi Dan
That would be great. I will upgrade in the future but just not yet then I can repurchase. Brilliant. Thank you.
Phil
No problem, can you drop a note to support@elementsplatform.com with the email address you used to purchase the CMS license and we’ll take care of the refund for you.
