I know I’m butchering the naming of this styling in Elements.
Is there a way to toggle on/off the highlighting in the editor that shows the boundary and name of an element?
When I’m working on small items, this highlighting can sometimes completely obscure the content, making it difficult to preview or edit the item.
It would be very useful if there were some means of toggling this on and off, preferably with some magic keystroke.
Maybe this already exists and I have just not discovered it yet.

I’ve actually found myself wanting this sometimes too I’ll have a chat with @bon and @tpbradley and see what we can do on this one!

It seems to me something like this is a sort of cheap PREVIEW mode as you are getting to see the page as it would appear in a browser. But because the editor is WYSYWIG you can still try out things as you would interact with them in the real world.
Of course they would not respond as intended, but the idea is more that you can see how things will feel and look.

Please make it an option (don’t just remove it). I find the bounding boxes very useful but agree on occasion they can be in the way.
There is no way you would want to remove this, as it would be almost impossible to get anything done. The feedback is invaluable.
It should be an on/off toggle.

Yes, don’t worry, it’ll be a toggle!
