Having just converted a large and complex site from RWC/Stacks to Elements over the past week or two I’ve ended up with 35 Custom HTML components. The problem is that there doesn’t seem to be anyway to re-order them. When you first create an HTML component it appears randomly somewhere in the set of existing custom components, and after being re-named it retains that positioning no matter what.
Ideally I’d like to be able to group them into some sort of logical organisation, but even just alphabetical order would be better than what we have now.
In a similar vein, my site doesn’t feature a blog, and at the moment doesn’t require any content management, so it would be nice to be able to hide the CMS section as these components are just taking up screen real-estate for no reason and forcing me into scrolling the component panel up and down to get to the components I do want (and since my 35 Custom HTML elements are mostly not re-usable I could do with hiding them away too). I’ve got no need of the Forms components in this site either. The Content components are a vertical screen-and-a-half’s scroll away from the Navigation components for instance (even on a 32in display with three columns of components showing).
Being able to re-order the Component sections would also help!
