Does anybody know of a form configurator snippet out there where I can have people select a color and it change the image on screen? I build custom guitars and I’m about to change the website to make it easier for my customers to see what they’re doing. I’ve seen sites like convertcalculator.com and honestly, I just don’t want to pay over $150 a month for a form configurator.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
How spooky, I am just working on a swatch custom component for my 5 Applicators which come in Different colours. I have had a play with Chatty bot this morning and refined what I started yesterday. I have changed my product to a generic guitar with a number on for you and hope this helps?
Download your guitar images (jpg) into the folder and number them 1 to five i.e.”guitar1.jpg”
Open to check when you choose each colour swatch your image should change, once your happy with this stage you can now choose one of the HTML snippets to work on First is Generic colours, the one blow is specific HEX/RGB codes if you have specific colours. I have shown two lines in colour bit of code, first fro HEX and Second for RGB, if you want to use one or the other just copy the lines exactly as they are and change to your corporate colour codes for your guitars. If theres more than 5 just copy lines exactly as they are and add 6,7, etc and a colour code line too. if you have less than 5 just delete a line.

Thanks for the reply! I did play with it. It worked pretty well. I’ve got a few options I want to add that represent guitar “add-ons”. I’m assuming the Hex Code color swatches could be replaced with images as well.

Yes they’re just buttons. If you look at DevDiary 15 it shows you how to add image wells and place {{Twig}} codes in if that floats your boat!

Just updated file as I’ve been playing, I have now added 5 icons to switch pics. I have used icons but you can replace with pics or whatever.
