I’m not certain your Host field is correct. That looks to be the server hostname, not the mail server SMTP Host (although these can sometimes be used interchangeably).
Anyway can you confirm your SMTP Host in your web hosting control panel at your current web hosting provider? It might be:
I built this site for my band so I’m not a web-designer and I’m the very definition of ‘I only need to know enough to get my site running so here’s what I found on my web hosting control panel…
Is this the info you were looking for? And if so does this mean that I should be using netsol-smtp-oxcs.hostingplatform.com my contact page’s host box? If not happy look further… thanks in advance!
Yep that’s it, you would enter netsol-smtp-oxcs.hostingplatform.com in the Host field in the Contact Form’s settings panel.
Everything else looks correct. Try updating that Host field in your Contact Form settings and republishing the site. Let us know how you get on afterwards.
THANK YOU that works! A follow-up question on spam protection: When I add spam protection to the form (I tried both honey pot and reCAPTCHA) the form stops working, when I remove the spam protection it starts working again. I learned from my Rapidweaver site that I will need spam protection (I got slammed without it Ideas??? Thanks so much in advance! Shanti
How are you adding the HoneyPot spam protection? You should only need to select it in the form settings and that’s it. You don’t have to configure anything for it..
