[I have 2 website with contact forms…both have stopped working and ive changed nothing…they were perfect before but now they wont send. dont know when they stopped as I dont send myself emails but they were ok …agggggggghhhhhhhhhh
I also spent a long time getting the settings right. What helped me were the logs. There should be a logs directory in the /rw/elements/com.realmac.corepack/api directory. You can find the errors by grep "error" *.log.
I spent ages getting them to work also…now I have to do it all again grrrrrrr
getting fed up now..wouldnt even know where to start looking for all this stuff you tell me…im a WYSIWYG guy if I type rw/elemnets in finder and search my Mac…you know what comes up…ZIP
Forms only work on the web server because they use PHP. They don’t work in the browser preview.
Accessing the web server with an FTP program would be helpful. This would allow you to change to the directory I specified and download the log files for analysis at your leisure.

I will repeat what I said before…MY FORMS WORKED OK BEFORE…I HAVE ALTERED NOTHING…NOW THEY DONT WORK!!! why do you even mention browser preview??? it worked now it dont!!! if I downloaded a log file it would mean nothing to me…absolutely nothing

Sorry to hear your forms aren’t working, I know how frustrating this must be for you.
The forms have had a lot of work to improve them under the hood, this is all part of the work we’re doing for the CMS — Unfortunately it sounds like the changes have broken them for you.
Can you share the URL of your website using the form along with the project via Elements Cloud?
will do ive just re installed v1.0 was going to try see if forms work ok in that first…dont really know when they stopped working as I dont email myself a lot haha

hi..thought I would try something else to get these forms work so I paid for a different host..IONOS and uploaded to their server cos I wanted to eliminate anything that ONE.COM were doing and my form has same effect ie it wont send.
dont know if that helps in anyway or not hahaha

I’ve dropped you a reply with some suggestions (i.e. Try setting the from address to your email address for that account).
tried all that and changed all the security setting etc…still no luck.
also I never changed the settings from when it did work perfectly to when it didnt.
it definitely stopped working after an update I just dont know which one…
send me a link to an old version before you started doing the cos stuff

Can you also confirm what version of PHP your new server is running?
I realise I forgot to change the new host settings also it’s 8.3. can upgrade to 8,4 but leftt it at the mo
