Cool Elements early release! Used Grid & Flex to vary # of columns, +…

First, Elements has shaped up wonderfully since December, great polish & excellent features. Purchased the early access yesterday, and got a small site up fairly quickly.

Most notably, I used the Grid component as directed by the AI search’s explanation to build a page with one to two columns depending on the size of the browser. Furthermore, I was able to embed Flex components in the Grid to place images beside text and produce great look quickly that took me much effort to build hand-coded a decade ago. This effort was done in a couple hours with no code, just reading docs and trial-&-error. Soon I’ll be able to turn out, maintain great sites in no time.

Stellar job, Realmac Software! Thanks…

Hey @zest43, thanks so much for the kind words; it really means a lot to us. Feedback like yours keeps us super motivated

If you get stuck, just ask here on the forum. I’m always happy to do a quick video showing how to achieve certain layouts, etc.

Thanks again for the nice feedback, and welcome aboard! :raising_hands:

I can only agree that it already is and will be a greater application. It might not do things exactly the way I want them (for that read “the way I have always done them for years”) but it is pretty close and is a game changer for me.

Thanks so much! I know Elements might not do everything exactly the way you’re used to, but it’s great to hear it’s now starting to click for you. Our goal has always been to rethink how site building works on the Mac, and to make it faster, cleaner, and (hopefully) more enjoyable.

Excited to keep improving it, and thanks again for the kind words!
