When I set up a element, a lot of custom attributes get set (font, size, color, border, background color, sizing, spacing, etc.). Is there a way in Elements to be able to copy all of the attributes of an element, and then paste those settings to a different element? It would save me a lot of time!
I’ve gotten into the habit of creating a global on an element. You just have to remember to unlink the global afterwards. When using a global, you can specify exactly what can be overwritten.
Yes, that’s what I’m doing now, however I redesigned my website before thinking that I would have to go onto 14 different site pages and manually update a bunch of elements on each page. ![]()
It would be nice to see this feature implemented in a future release of Elements.
You can also set it up as a project template, so you don’t have to remember to set the override each time.
