Custom component

When I use a custom html component, why doesn’t it show up the way the other component show, it just disappears. It works and shows up in the drop down page layout, but nothing on the main editing page view. I feel it should show something, Am I missing something?

That sounds like there could be an issue with the code in the Custom Component. Can you share the project or the code you’re using?
