If you’ve been exploring Transitions in Elements, you may have came across the “Custom” function option, and wondered what that is, and how you generate a custom “Cubic Bezier”
I created an MacOS application to do just that, visually. It’s called coincidentally “Cubic Bezier”.
It allows you to visualise a custom animation curve. And as of today, has an option to output just the cubic bezier, that you can paste right into the custom function in Elements.
@Doobox that’s cool I was wondering if I would have to go trawling the internet for curves, I only have one in there at the moment, able to add a few different curves as an option + self enter, will purchase soon cool
I got carried away with updates to the app, so much so it’s now a new V2.
I’ll be sending out links today for the V2 version to anyone that purchased V1 over last few days. Thank’s for the support, and hope it helps with the custom transitions in Elements.
@dan I changed the output of Cubic Bezier 2 today to cater for Elements, as Elements only accepts a Bézier curve in the form 0.42,0.0,0.58,1.0 (note no spaces after commas).
But research suggests either is valid, with or without spaces.
0.42, 0.0, 0.58, 1.0
0.42,0.0,0.58,1.0
