They now appear to be in files/com.realmacsoftware.image.
I was checking for these images in my webpage to substitute them with my own.
Yes, I realise this is not good practice as they can be moved (as it appears to be in this case) and will change the logic to a more robust solution as soon as the upcoming CMS is released.
However, they are just placeholder images for the components, and should not be used or relied upon. They will probably change, and ultimately will not be published if they are not being used in the site.
Can I ask why you need/want to overwrite them? perhaps there’s a better solution
It is for my blog. Originally there wasn’t a way to be able to detect an image placeholder and to replace it with the required blog image: PHP HTML Substitution?
Now you can select Resource or CMS in the image. I have just tried using CMS and entering {IMAGE} in the field (which is what my blog uses to substitute images) and that works (at the moment).
I am mindful that the CMS hasn’t been released yet and so I can’t depend on this to work in this manner once it is released.
So to answer your question, there is a better solution but I need the CMS.
