Delete items from the resource folder

How do I delete an item in the resource folder. I have two items which show a triangle with an exclamation mark in it. I can not figure how to delete anything that is in that folder.

Should be able to right-click on an item and select delete.

Thanks for the reply.

Right clicking an item only gives three choices.

  1. New folder from selection
  2. Add Files
  3. Add Remote Resources.

There is a Delete when I right click in Classic, but not in Elements.

Make sure you right-click on the name of the item, and not the icon or not in free space.

Thanks for the help, but I had closed the project without save and started a new project, so the resources are gone now. I have been using Classic so long I am stuggling with elements. Most the the site I want to rewrite is easy, but 60% is JAlbum projects in the OffSite stack. Having trouble with simulating that. I also have a store page for Ecwid. Until I figure them two out, I am stuck with Classic. My classic site is www.n1et.com. I am back to watching videos and reading docs for now.

Like any software package, there is a learning curve to Elements. For me, Elements has been the first web design software since GoLive that I liked and was able to successfully re-write most of my existing website, originally designed with GoLive 5. Still a few more pieces to do.

The more you do some work in Elements, the more you should get it. Overall, I believe it to be much easier to use than Rapid Weaver Classic. (Owned a license for it, tried to use it, never got it…it never clicked). Elements clicked.

I highly recommend it. Just keep plugging away. There are loads of folks here in the forums who can provide assistance, and the RealMac folks are especially awesome with their assistance here.
