Yesterday we released Elements Beta 6 with a whole host of improvements and fixes. While we still have a long way to go to the official launch, it’s worth acknowledging how far we’ve come in such a short space of time — It’s really exciting to be moving with development at such a pace in public!
This weeks video covers some of the UI changes we’ve been making as a result of your feedback. I think the Single Group Mode in the inspector might just be one of my favorite changes we’ve made recently!
Feedback
Keep the feedback coming, and if you have any feedback about today’s video please post them below.
So if ask real nicely and promise not to send you too much feedback, will you get me the beta Real Soon Now? I’m leaving on a two week trip next week where I actually have the time to pay some close attention to Elements and play with how I’ll likely tie in other elements (;~) via the lower level bits.
I can, of course, wait. But I can’t promise that I’d give it the same thorough look anywhere near as quickly if I’m like, last on the beta list.
Like what I’m seeing. But you’ve been mostly showing “design to the mean” type things. I’m curious just how far we can go with it without too much effort.
I tried that and it did not work for me. All that happened when I did it was it either expanded or collapsed the group I clicked on. Is there some other place you have to click other than in a group heading?
OK, I was finally able to get to show up, a control-click does not work on a MacBook Pro but a double finger click does bring up the menu, interesting. I hardly ever use a double finger click for a right click. I’ll have to program my brain to remember that combo.
