Developing Elements Addons?

Q1: I am unclear as to what documentation is available if I for example wanted to develop an Elements Addon to do CRUD functionality on a MySQL database. I see reference to an API in various posts. Is the API available to look at?

Q2: Does elements support PHP code in a similar way to Stacks. I use Sitelok by VibraLogix for example which uses PHP to ensure that page stacks content only gets sent to the browser if logged in.

I guess a lot of this will become clearer once access to the beta is available.

We have work-in-progress Elements languages doc available here, and we’re adding more documentation every week… so keep an eye on it!

Yes, just like RW Classic, the Elements web server can render PHP locally!

Exactly, we hope to have a beta available soon, along with a more complete set of API docs to enable users and developers to start tinkering.
