I vaguely remember seeing that error, I think it has to do with the home page getting unset.
EDIT: Looks like @dan is answering, heāll give you the definitive answer.
If you see the āDocument Repaired Warning Dialogā dialog when opening a project, donāt panic! This is nothing to be alarmed about. Your project(s) are safe.
When Elements detects any orphaned nodes (bits of content that no longer have a proper home), it moves them to the top of the page rather than deleting them outright. That way, nothing important ever gets lost by mistake.
These nodes can be safely removed: Follow these steps to repair your project:
- With the project open, go to the
Help > Recovery > Remove Recovered Nodesoption from the menu. - Then, use the
File > Save Asā¦command to save your project as a new file. - Close the project and Elements.
- Re-launch and open the newly saved (and repaired) project.
Weāre actively working on reducing the chances of these orphaned nodes appearing in the first place.
OK -
User needs some feedback after activating āremove nodesā - as nodes donāt go / disappear
However, indeed ⦠in reopening the newly saved files - all seems well
