I would like the ability to double click on an item and have it open the field to rename an item as untitled is not helpful. When I create an item the first thing I do is rename it to something that makes sense. Especially rename, I was setting up my site pages and thought it was a bit of an issue having to choose the context menu after creating the item. Might even want to have the field open to name and give focus when created which would be the best solution for your users.
I would appreciate it if you could add it to the list for a future update.

We follow the standard macOS interaction model, where in a list view, a single click selects the item and a second single click (not a double-click) allows you to rename it. As @RussOggi255 mentioned, pressing Enter on a selected item is quick way to rename pages. It’s a great workflow if you’re going through several pages, as you can rename, press Enter to confirm, then use the arrow keys to move and repeat.
That said, your point about improving the renaming experience right after creating an item is a good one. I’ve ticked this for a future update.
