Draging Containers etc. to higher and lower levels

In the Node Browser, I have a Container-PageContent which is placed at what I will call level 1, the same level as Container-PageHeader.

If I want to move this Container-PageContent inside the previous Level, Container-PageHeader, this is easily done by simply drag and drop and it moves to level 2.

However, if at a later time I now wish to move this Container-PageContent back to Level 1, there appears no easy way of doing so. Drag and drop does not work as I can not select the level 1 position. Don’t know if I have described this the best way, but it seems I can always drag and drop to a level 2 or 3 or 4 but never drag back to a previous level.

I drag it above the top node and then move it from there.

Yes, I have done the same, but that can be a lot of mucking around if you have dependants under it which you don’t want to move.
Would be better if we had some way of selecting exactly where we want an element to go. Cheers.

Agreed. I see to have an issue dropping a node right at the end of the list. It always seems to become a child of the existing last node

Unfortunatley this is just the way these types of outlines view work in macOS, you can drop sub items you just need to make sure the insertion cursor is in the right place.

Oh, and I fortgot to say about dropping items on parent items to get them where you want…
