HI together,
I try to build a special sliding effect with Drift from Joe Workman but I can’t find the right solution and need some help.
I have 4 pages that you can change by scrolling down. Page 1 and 4 are normal ones.
Page 2 and 3 are one table with 2 rows 50:50.
When you scroll down to page 2 you should see on the left half some Text and on the right a Picture. When you try to scroll to page 3 the Picture slides from right to left and you see some Text on the right row which now represents page 3 (picture on the left and text on the right).
The sliding mechanism works fine and it starts when the full page 2 is visible (Start Position 100%, Trigger Top).
My problem is that in this version the user has no time to read the text because the slider starts immediately. I want to start this slider when the visitor scrolled a bit further (maybe 20 % of the page) without moving page 2 out of view. Same with page 3 by scrolling backwards.
I tried to make my Drift Container Sticky and put a container around with a height of 140 vh. But it didn’t work because Sticky wasn’t recognized. I also didn’t find a Pin I could use.
Any solution?
