If I want to duplicate a “content/text” block, for example, but it’s empty, can I use “Duplicate Without Content”?
Is that the correct way to do it?
I’m not sure because when I use this command, it has the same effect as “Duplicate”! It copies the block but with its contents.

When you “Duplicate without Content” it should only take the top level component, like this…

If you duplicate a text Component it will include the actual text content. The “Duplicate without Content” is meant for components, perhaps we need to update the name to avoid confusion ![]()
Or maybe have it only available on components? Alternatively, possibly dynamically change output based on selection: i.e. current functionality on components, things like a text box duplicate with no text and the focus in the text box, ready to start typing. I could see that getting confusing as one command has different outcomes…
