Element Trial Version question

I’m making progress with the trial version and slowly getting to know Elements. I’m now testing the video component. The video is ok but the thumbnail seems to be greyed out. Is this because it’s a trial version?

Shouldn’t be, the only limitations of the trial version is that you can’t publish/export the site, and you can only make up to 3 pages in the project file.

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end so we can take a look?

Hi Dan heres whats happening. I’m also not allowed to access HTML keeps referring me to buy,

You just need to turn down the overlay opacity to 0% :slight_smile:

Thanks Dan. One more thing. I have the video controls switched on but there doesn’t appear to be a play button the clip. Do I have to do this manually by putting a button on the video?

Yes, because you’ve used a thumbnail for the video, you’ll need to put on your own play button to get it loaded.

We include plenty of SVG’s in Elements, including a play icon, you can get some nice effects by using this in the “Overlay” drop zone :slight_smile:
