Hello again,
Hot on the heels of yesterday’s build, we have version 0.7.4 As well as a whole bunch of nice fixes, this build includes the new Modal Component
For more details on how the new Modal Component works, please watch Dev Diary Ep72 – New Modal Component .
You might also want to open the sample project and take a look at the example Modal page. Have fun!
What’s New in Elements 0.7.4?
Added Modal and Modal Close Components
The “Standard” navigation Component is now known as “Menu”
The "Sticky” property should now work in the editor
Page name changes are now pushed to the editor correctly
Folder names now use web-safe page titles by default
Added options to modify SVG output
Switching off Dark Mode no longer breaks the device’s UI
Link Pages now support any type of link (mailto:, tel:, php, etc.)
Added the “Elements” theme (work-in-progress)
API: Fixed an issue with using PHP in the portal head

Alternatively, you can always download the latest build of Elements here .

Can’t get the update.
Either the download linke or the inbuilt update lead to an error.
Also the download speed is very slow.
Also I can’t post a jpg or png here.

Sounds like a network issue, as we host the files with Amazon.
Can you try a different network, or via your mobile network maybe?
Here’s the direct download for you to try again.
The fact you’re having issues with both downloading and uploading seems to point to a network issue to do with yoru location (or your Mac)
All seems to be working here on both download, and upload…

@dan
do you have any idea why the download via the elements-app or rapidweaver-app regularly does not work?
i can rule out network problems, as other downloads are running in parallel and I only have this problem with downloads from you.

Your direct download link worked. Speed only 320kb/s.
I haven’t changed anything.
I never had problems with downloads.

@Bootsie
Which standard browser do you use?

i actually meant which browser you use by default for downloads.
i suspect that there is some kind of conflict here if “Safari” is not specified as the default browser … because the downloads then work under safari.

Aha.
My standard at the moment is Opera.
But I tried to download with Safari too.
I will now test with Safari as the standard browser.
Stand by …

You’re right.
Download with Safari as standard browser took just a few seconds.
It should not be this way. You should be able to download with the browser of your choice.
Anyway … we’ve found the cause.
