Elements 0.7.6 (23477)

Hello again,

Just a cheeky little weekend update to fix an issue with creating new code pages on older systems.

What’s New in Elements 0.7.6?

  • Fix New Page crash caused by using an unavailable SF icon

Purchase a License

You can visit the elementsapp.io website to purchase a license.

Get the Update

Elements should prompt you while it’s running to let you know there’s an update. If it doesn’t, you can select the “Check for Updates…” menu option from the “Elements” app menu.

Alternatively, you can always download the latest build of Elements here.

Give Feedback

If you are running a licensed copy of Elements, please post all feedback in the Feedback Forum. You can use the Elements > Send Feedback… menu item to automatically pre-fill the build number into a new topic.

Does that mean I have a older system

 … oh well I am still postponing the new osx update and run on Sonoma. Have so many “secret notes” and not sure how the new “password” app would integrate that. @dan is Keychain Access still available in the new OSX Version? If thats the case I update directly.

Haha, your keychain should just work… however, I don’t want to be responsible if it all goes sideways when you upgrade

Do a full-backup, set aside an afternoon, and cross your fingers

Apparently, keychain access for passwords has been deprecated, but it is still there for certificates. Notes.app now allows for password protected notes, so you can transfer all of your secret notes in the keychain to Notes.

Thanks for the info. I liked that it was tied to my iCloud Account and not to my user password of the computer. But yeah will give it a try.

Tested it on my iPhone. It will use my computers password to unlock (if setup this way) and my iPhone Code to open it. So its still cross device. Awesome.

Thanks for all the feedback. Tomorrow is update time
