Hello again,
This build brings more publishing improvements, including a brand new manifest system. That’s right, Elements will no longer re-upload unchanged files during publishing — Finally!
This is the first release of the new publishing system, and we’re already working on further enhancements. Look out for more improvements in next week’s build!
We don’t anticipate any issues with these changes, but if you do run into publishing problems, you can always revert to version 1.0 — here’s the download link, just in case.
Important Note: The first time you re-publish your website with Elements with 1.0.2 it will upload ALL files again (this is just so it can generate the new manifest). Future publishes will only upload changed files, so will be SUPER quick. Enjoy
Have a great weekend!
What’s New in Elements 1.0.2?
- Fixed unnecessary re-uploading of unchanged files during publishing
- Fixed issue with dragging and dropping root-level pages
- Fixed publishing progress bars not displaying correctly
- Fixed a crash that could occur during publishing
