Do you just mark all pages and resources changed and reload site?
Do you have to make changes to your site?
Does each update automatically update the code that is exported to the server?
Just Curious how it works….
This is actually a great series of questions. If a version optimizes something in the output, it would be helpful to know this going forward. If a version update offers greater efficiency in code, then our websites would benefit from a republish. If not, we can simply plan to apply the changes the next time we update the content and be satisfied with that. Following this so I can see the answer from RM.
Elements tracks all changed files. Generally you just need to hit “Publish” and Elements will send any new or changed files to the server.
You only need to use “Re-Publish All Files” if you are seeing issues with your published site

@Dan now i updated to 1.3.5 from 1.3.3. Should there are some files to upload?
If i press Shift-CMD-K nothing happend. If there are any changes in the core, this should be uploaded?
Hmm, the Video component, contact form got updated, so if your site uses those you should have seen some files get uploaded. You can simply do a “Re-Publish All” to ensure you get all the changes.
Regarding the “changes in the Core”, that was for the Core Templates, these are static objects that won’t get updated updated once they are dropped in your project (hope that makes sense). Very different from Components (aka the Core Components), that DO get updated in your site.
