Hmm, not quite. if you use the Appleseed sample project the author.name isn’t displayed on the first page of posts, ‘Load More’ and the author names are displayed. I double checked this by changing pagination with a total of 7 posts.
Pagination set to 1, 1st page shows nothing for the author, second and subsequent pages show the author.
Pagination set to 2, 1st page of 2 posts show nothing for the author, second and subsequent pages show the authors.
Pagination set to 3, 1st page of 3 posts show nothing for the authors, second and subsequent pages show the authors.
Rinse and repeat, you get the idea!
Again, this is your sample project with no changes made initially, but then 2 posts added to prove the point.
