Elements 1.6.2 (23988)

Hey Weavers,

Here’s another nice little update just in-time for the weekend. Enjoy!

What’s New in Elements 1.6.2?

  • Added right-click options for changing property highlights
  • CMS Collection can now generate RSS and Sitemap files on the server
  • Fixed an issue where Image Slider would sometimes get stuck

Purchase a License

You can visit the Elements website to purchase a license.

Elements Store is now live!

It’s a built-in place to discover, share, and buy products made for Elements: components, templates, projects, themes, and resource packs. You can browse free and paid products, install them directly into Elements, and even submit your own work to share with others.

Get the Update

Elements should prompt you while it’s running to let you know there’s an update. If it doesn’t, you can select the “Check for Updates…” menu option from the “Elements” app menu.

Alternatively, you can always download the latest build of Elements here.

Need a previous build?

If the latest build causes issues for your setup, you can roll back to an earlier version using the Release Notes page.

Give Feedback

If you are running a licensed copy of Elements, please post all feedback in the Feedback Forum. You can use the Elements > Send Feedback… menu item to automatically pre-fill the build number into a new topic.

Can turn off to

Can you add a Control click option too? @ben

Not checked yet but thanks for fixing image slider!

Elements is a nice package, but to move from Classic is very time costly. Elements is ideal for new web builds, not so for moving platforms, (picture sizing and odd things are not controllable). I shall continue with Classic for established sites and use Elements for new builds only.

@JonSnell Exactly for this reason you can book us to convert your existing site into elements. Have a look at https://classic-to-elements.com/ for this service.

Cheers,
Jan

I understand - choices to be made

All I can say is - it’s been very fun using the new software, and there are many benefits.
