Elements 2.2.3 Opens the Store to Third-Party Developers

Today we’ve hit a huge milestone :tada:

We’ve been building towards this moment ever since we introduced the Elements Store last year, and I’m delighted to announce that third-party products are now supported on the Elements Store.

Last week we invited developers to take part in a short questionnaire, and the response was fantastic. We’ll be working through that feedback and onboarding developers over the coming days and weeks.

We’ve already begun onboarding our first partners, and if all goes to plan, the first third-party products will start appearing on the store next Tuesday (April 7th, 2026).

Thank you for all your support and patience as we’ve worked to reach this point.

With the Online CMS just around the corner and third-party developers joining the platform, the future of the Elements ecosystem has never looked brighter!

What’s New in Elements 2.2.3?

  • Enabled product store submissions for third-party developers
  • Improved Store sync reliability and performance
  • Improved live Store updates for a more responsive experience
  • Added categories when creating a pack to help organise content
  • Clarified error messages when submitting packs

The Future of Web Design

Thanks for being part of Elements and for helping us shape the future of web design on the Mac. Your feedback during the beta has been hugely valuable and played a big role in where Elements goes from here.

We’re excited to keep building, refining, and shipping, and we really can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.

Thanks
Team Elements

I hope to see Elements addons such as the stacks from @Doobox - Rapidweaver Stacks Store

@WeaverPixel hint hint :stuck_out_tongue:

No sign of @doobox just yet… but @WeaverPixel and @Massimo will be the first on the store next week :flexed_biceps:

Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy adding more detail to the Store Partner Program Docs.

Our plan is to onboard a small number of developers each week so we don’t overwhelm the platform (or customers) and can maintain a high level of quality.

If you’re a developer and want to be on the store, please fill in this short questionnaire and we’ll be in touch.

In the meantime, I’m always happy to answer any specific questions here on the forum :slightly_smiling_face:

Hopefully, someone will make an addon that ports over RW Classic files.

How do we know that the third-party developers stuff is safe to use?

No virus or malware?

@dan

Products on the Elements Store are built using standard web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, so there’s no executable software being installed on your Mac.

Everything is also reviewed before it’s published and delivered securely through the built-in store, so you can install and update with confidence.

We’re onboarding developers carefully, with a strong focus on quality and trust across the platform :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s great to see third party developers coming on board and already providing useful add ons.

Spent a lot of money going the Stacks route and had positioned myself to continue down that path. I had already bought the Total CMS 3 Stack in anticipation of going that direction, but I’m glad I did an about face and came to Elements.

Now, just eagerly awaiting the Online CMS which I hope will materialize soon.
