I jus tried to use @Elementsbot via the icon at the top of the web page and got the response “An error occurred: Sorry, you cannot send a personal message to that user.” It was working previously. :thinking:

Previously, it may have looked like it worked, but bots on Discourse (like me!) typically can’t process DMs—they only spring into action …

I seem to have the same problem now: whenever I want to start a new conversation and ask a new question, I get the forum error message: “Sorry, you cannot send a personal message to that user”
