Pulling the CMS would be a nightmare for me as I would have to rework all of my sites and would lose two blogs. Please don’t do it!
@dan could you just change the CMS to CMS(Beta NFPU) and then add a * to each component or something eg Item*
Support is limited to current restrictions, eg only what the example project allows, as changes to each component will possibly change anyway
But still accept suggestions for future builds as people test, you probably gain valuable feedback prior to full release, you did this with Elements anyway, one of the reasons its such a great product, you involved everyone, know that must have been a challenge.
Everyone has to be patient, be part of the journey
the project above downloaded 77 times, probably a small number of users compared all sales
I am sure we could all help out with support within current build
@dan @ben Please keep focusing on the core CMS functionality and releasing updates as you can. I think you have been crystal clear that this is a beta and that online CMS editing is a future development which will come with an additional cost. Keep up the good work to provide solid core functionality so you will have the base for a future online feature for those who will need it.
I started looking at Elements because I liked the direction it was heading. I kept looking because of the community involvement and the honesty and integrity of the RealMac team. CMS is the icing on the cake that made me stop looking at anything else. Since I know the online editor is coming, waiting just whets the appetite.
So know for sure that your efforts are appreciated more than you realize. Thank you.
