Elements Hosting - We’re Moving Our Los Angeles Hosting Server to Silicon Valley! 🚀

Hi Elements Hosters. :waving_hand:

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be migrating all websites currently hosted on our Los Angeles, CA server to a brand-new server located in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara), CA.

Once every account has been successfully migrated, we’ll retire the existing Los Angeles server and make Silicon Valley our new home on the West Coast.

Why Silicon Valley?

As we continue to grow our hosting platform, we regularly review our infrastructure to ensure we’re providing the best possible experience for our customers. After careful evaluation, Silicon Valley stood out as the clear choice.

Some of the benefits include:

  • A more central West Coast location. Silicon Valley is better positioned to serve customers throughout California, Oregon, Washington, and Western Canada while still providing excellent connectivity across the United States, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands.
  • One of the world’s largest technology hubs. Santa Clara is home to one of the largest concentrations of data centers on the West Coast, with extensive fiber infrastructure and direct connectivity to major internet exchanges. This creates a highly connected network environment that’s trusted by many of the world’s largest technology companies (like Apple! :red_apple:)
  • Modern infrastructure for the future. Our new server gives us a newer platform to continue expanding and improving our hosting services as we grow.

How the Migration Will Work

We’ll be migrating accounts in small batches to ensure every move is carefully monitored.

We’ll begin with the simplest migrations first:

  • Customers hosting a single website.
  • Customers using our Managed DNS service.

These migrations are straightforward and can typically be completed with no disruption.

If you’re using third-party DNS, your migration will be scheduled a little later. We’ll coordinate with you beforehand so we can update any required DNS records at the appropriate time and ensure the transition is as seamless as possible.

Our goal throughout this process is to minimize downtime and make each migration as smooth as possible.

We’re Here to Help

We’ll be actively monitoring every migration and will be available throughout the process should you have any questions or need assistance.

We’ll also post updates as each migration batch begins so you’ll always know what’s happening and when.

We’re excited about this upgrade and the opportunities it brings for the future of our hosting platform. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our new Silicon Valley home! :red_apple:

Just a follow-up, we will be starting the LA to Silicon Valley migrations tomorrow:

Wednesday, July 29th, 2026

We’ll be migrating accounts in small batches to ensure every move is carefully monitored. After the migration we will confirm everything is working well before moving on to the next batch.

I’ll be sending out emails before each batch to the affected accounts so you’ll have a heads up. If you have any questions beforehand feel free to let us know. :slightly_smiling_face:
