I have been actively working on rebuilding my website in Elements. I have been organizing the images in the resources tab and trying to organize by page/section. It’s been working out well. Today I added about 7 pages to my website under one section. The section when republishing all files, does not display the images anymore. I see the images on the server, but the image is no longer on the website at the URL. I’ve tried restarting elements and republishing. I’ve tried relinking the image to the page in elements, then republishing again. This is the second time something like this has happened, but this time on a much larger scale. I have about 27 pages in this section and some are not displaying images, some are. it’s random and I have no idea why this is doing this. I see all the images in the correct resource folder on the server, so it shouldn’t be doing this. Can someone help asap. not sure how to fix this. Thanks
and, btw, they all have the same permissions.
Are you adding the image inside the inspector? v
Yes. Actually, I’ve been trying to figure out what’s happening. I’m using ‘Brave’ browser. I opened in Chrome and everything is fine. I then went back to Brave and cleared all Cache for images. And now it’s loading fine. So, it’s not Elements, it’s the browser.
And just want to Note: Elements is fantastic! Anyone looking to switch from Classic to Elements, there’s a slight learning curve, but it’s not bad and once you get started it’s pretty easy! Great product.
