Elements Portfolio - Pictures sorted

Is it possible to sort your pictures in the portfolio module of Elements? It looks like it now sort of randomly sorted the photo’s. My wish is to have them alphabetically or by date.

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to be able sort the images in a folder in Resources that are being used in an Image Slider. As far as I understand the image slider displays the images in the order in which they appear in the folder. Currently you have to manual sort them. There is a Feature Request already to add Sorting capability to Resources, you can add your vote at https://elements.nolt.io/31

Thank you for your quick response. In the Gallery module I included my map (from a MacOS folder) of pictures. These are in numerical order (250131name, 250215name etc). In the gallery module they show up randomly, I can’t see any logical order. But I guess from your response I have to wait till the feature of ordering will come available. I will vote for the request.

if your photos are sorted on your pc before importing I found if you create the folder in resources first then drag them into that then they seem to stay in the sorted order from the mac

Thanks, that indeed worked. I initially dragged the folder to the Media box on the right. Creating a folder in Resources in the left column and then adding files indeed added the files the way it was organised in Finder (oldest date gave oldest date first, newest date gave newest date first etc.). Thanks again.
