As a Chillidog customer trying to negotiate the new regime under Exact Hosting, I thought I’d share the process that finally worked for me.
As of today, if you have a query do the following.
- Log into your Chillidog account and then raise the ticket there. This will be picked up by the Exact Hosting people.
- They will email you with a solution or ask for further info. Reply to the email (they seem to have switched off their over-enthusiastic spam filters which would routinely flag emails as containing a virus. If you get that problem, go back to the support ticket page and tell them).
- Their customer service people are not very technical so while they’re able to help with some issues, they won’t be able to fix errors like the one I experienced.
- If that’s the case, ask to be referred to a systems engineer - I spoke to Jesse Richardson - he was very helpful to the extent of setting up a video call - and fixed the problem.
They’re aware that the transition from Chillidog to Exact has been a bumpy ride, but are trying to help. If you’re struggling to get hold of them, try the above route. It worked for me.
