I have this extraneous code which appears at top of my website. I checked the template and the various tracking codes and info in there and it does not appear to be something that is askew there. I’m thinking it might be somewhere in my actual website.
It was easy to find it’s on line 83…
class="bg-surface-50 dark:bg-surface-950" >Thank you for taking the time to find where that code is coming from. I confess I’m not very good with matters of code. Do you have a suggestion of what I should do to get rid of it? Is it extraneous or is it needed and just out of place? Thank you for any help or solution you may provide.
I would backup the site, if it’s in production. Then simply remove just that one line with a text editor, then save- Then see if the site works as it should.
No telling where that code is in your project., I cannot figure out how to do a global find/search in my element projects.
One last thought, you could take a quick look in the “Publishing Setup” panel, then click on the button “Edit Extra Code” then click on </> Body Start and see if that bad text is there. I simply added your error line to my test site & it was there…
Sorry I could not be more helpful
you must have added some code or something or Elements broke, you can see the code is not complete
added code could be in somewhere else
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll take a look.
Thanks for the screen video! I’ll see if that might work, also.
Hi Warren, could you share the file via Elements Cloud so we can take a look? The sharing instructions are here: Elements Cloud documentation. Thanks.
