Fails to upload changes

While I am waiting to hear back from the hosting company does anyone have an idea why a page would stall then quit the upload?
See attachment.

You can perform an FTP test in your RW publishing settings. If the data is correct and it’s still not working, the problem might be with the hosting

The test is “Successful” but actual publishing stalls and fails.
Globalhost has not provided a solution yet.

Normally, RapidWeaver doesn’t cause issues when publishing.
If the test works, you could try disabling some pages and testing again to find the problem. You can also try creating a new project to confirm that the issue isn’t related to your setup.

Publishing a different site to a different host, using the same software has no issues.

The host is aware of all my publishing credentials via screenshot.
Most of the time it is a host problem but for this they have not been quick to suggest anything useful.

Support log sent.

So we are very close to having this fixed.
But why does this page

Show up like this when accessed from links within the website?
https://www.janehamiltonfineart.com/(null)/(null)

Update: I did a temporary fix in the links by substituting the appropriate characters for null/null on the server.

Changed the entire site to a new hosting company but uploads still fail.
But in a slightly different way.

I see you’re now using Chilidog Hosting, excellent choice! I can assure you that RapidWeaver works just great with them so it’s probably just a little issue with the credientials you entered.

@LaPan or @barchard will be able to help get to the bottom of this!

Thanks, Dan. We’re already on it. And @tpbradley is on it, too.

Correct. That is part of the solution. Tom was able to upload page by page finally and now we’re working with Tom (at RM) to see what’s going on.

@TomM, did you have any luck uploading your site via an FTP client like Transmit (or similar)?

I tried transmit and uploaded one file but could find documentation on how to select a specific test destination folder.
I think the only worthwhile experiment would be to upload the entire site at once. And I would want to delete it from one folder afterwards.

Yes, agreed. Log into your server with Transmit, then drop and drop the exported RapidWeaver site (folder) into the Transmit Window.

If you’d like to do a Zoom call to try and get this sorted we can do that too. You can reply to the support ticket you have in with us and we can get something scheduled.

For some reason Transmit will not connect to this host.
