There doesn’t seem to be much hope of the Elements photo album page achieving the same functionality of Classic.
So I would request that the edit mode thumbs be larger in the Classic Photo album page.
That way you don’t need to switch to preview just to see what you are working with.
Hi @TomM Elements offers a built-in (free) component called Gallery. It works similarly to photogallery. You can also try it with the free version

With captions. Just as in Classic.
You can do this manually by creating a grid of images with overlapping text and then using a MODAL to display both images and text.
This is currently the only way with standard tools, but you can achieve something quite similar.
We are in a new environment where we can do some things manually and this allows for much more creativity. take a look the vertical column of images

Additionally, in Classic you can add or delete images anywhere on the page and the page updates automatically.
